The Africa Financial Inclusion Summit & Expo brings together policymakers, financial institutions, FinTech innovators, and development partners to advance financial inclusion across Africa. With only about 43% of people in Sub-Saharan Africa having access to bank accounts, and many using them solely for salaries or grants, financial exclusion remains a major barrier to poverty reduction and economic growth.
The summit will focus on innovative solutions, policy frameworks, and digital technologies that can expand access to banking, savings, insurance, credit, payments, pensions, and investments, particularly for low-income, rural, and marginalized communities. Topics include financial literacy, reducing the cost of services, mobile technology as a catalyst, gender-focused inclusion, blended finance, and the role of diaspora remittances.
The forum offers opportunities to attend, speak, sponsor, network, showcase, and collaborate, highlighting best practices, case studies, and innovations that drive inclusive financial growth and support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals in Africa.
