6th European Union – African Union Summit

Date: 17 -18 February 2022

Place: Paris

The 6th European Union-African Union Summit will take place on 17 and 18 February 2022 in Paris under the high patronage of French President Emmanuel Macron. On the agenda of the meeting, several issues will be addressed, including the place of economic relations between the two countries marked by the insufficient place of Africa in the various global value chains.

Other subjects will also be discussed, including climate, energy, migration and equity in access to vaccines.

The event will bring together leaders of the European Union and the African Union.
