Dr. Pooja GUPTA is a Chief Technology & AI Officer and digital transformation leader with over a decade of experience driving large-scale technology, fintech, and e-government initiatives across Africa. Based in Zambia for more than ten years, she has led and advised national-level projects in digital payments, e-KYC, AI strategy, health informatics, and public-sector modernization, working closely with governments, regulators, donors, and private sector partners. She serves on multiple advisory boards, including IA Forum and YouthUp Global, and is a passionate advocate for ethical AI, digital inclusion, and women’s leadership in technology. Dr. Gupta is also a speaker, published researcher, and mentor, committed to empowering youth and women to participate meaningfully in Africa’s digital economy.
