EU-Africa Roadshow 2026: Promoting the Cashew Value Chain in Côte d’Ivoire

From April 27 to May 3, 2026, a roadshow dedicated to the cashew value chain will take place across key Ivorian cities, including Abidjan, Yamoussoukro, and Bouaké. Organized under the EU-Africa cooperation framework, the event will bring together public and private stakeholders and international partners to promote sustainable development and strengthen the competitiveness of this strategic sector.

The program aims to:

• Facilitate business meetings between African processors and international buyers;
• Promote understanding of regulatory frameworks and policy reforms supporting the sector;
• Enhance access to financing and technology for local processing units;
• Highlight Côte d’Ivoire’s potential, emphasizing product quality and sustainable production.

As a major player in West Africa’s agro-industry, Côte d’Ivoire is positioning itself as a leading processing hub in the global cashew market, generating local value and employment. The roadshow offers a strategic opportunity to strengthen partnerships, explore new growth opportunities, and support the sustainable economic development of the sector.
