From 29 August to 1 September 2022, Libreville (Gabon) will host the African Climate Week. Organised each year by the UN, this week’s mission is to define a common framework for reflection before the COP27 scheduled to take place in Egypt at the end of 2022. On the menu, participants from major pan-African organisations, NGOs and representatives of African governments will focus on three areas of reflection, including resilience to climate risks, transition to a low-emissions economy, and partnerships to address urgent challenges.
