Biography
Susan Sagina Adongo is an Environmental Scientist, Strategic Conservation Planner, and Blue Economy Practitioner with 13+ years’ experience in biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation, and sustainable development. Pursuing a PhD in Environmental Science at Maseno University, she bridges science, policy, and community action aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, Paris Agreement, and Global Biodiversity Framework. She consults for Flux Carbon and on a World Bank–supported Sustainable Ocean Plan through CountyLink Engineering Ltd. She led the Women’s Economic Empowerment Strategy for Kenya’s blue economy and chaired Nairobi’s Wildlife Conservation Committee. Founder of Development Tracking Tools, she holds degrees from University of Nairobi and excels in data analytics, GIS, and policy advocacy.
