Place : Kigali - Rwanda Date : November 22 to 27, 2021 The 4th edition of the Africa Women Conference (AWC) will be held in Kigali, Rwanda, from November 22 to 27, 2021 under the theme « Women’s participation in building an inclusive and sustainable pos-covid economy ». The AWC was born out of the realization that African women have much to offer to the growth and development of the African continent. Despite this enormous potential, they continue to be overlooked and under-resourced. The key to changing these narratives, however, lies in the ability of women to come together and create Afrocentric solutions to the challenges they face. Africa Women Conference creates a platform through which women can collaborate and build partnerships. It is an initiative of the Helpline Foundation for the Needy in Abuja in collaboration with Echoes Africa Initiatives New York.

Date: November 18, 2021 at 11 AM GMT Location: Online The Africa Capital Markets Forum, in partnership with Perenity Software is organizing an online webinar on November 18, 2021 at 11 AM GMT on the theme: "Capital markets: facing the evolving challenges of regulation". Indeed, the good performance of capital markets depends largely on the ability of regulatory authorities to play a catalytic role and ensure a favorable environment for financial activities. This debate between regulators will provide a better understanding of the challenges facing the regulation of African capital markets. Four main areas will be addressed, in particular : How to apprehend the evolving role of the regulatory bodies of the capital markets? What mechanisms to boost the role of these bodies and strengthen their independence? What analyzes should be made of the reforms undertaken in terms of regulation? What are the guidelines for these reforms? What about the governance of regulatory authorities?
