Biography
Osasumwen Edobor is a gender advocate and founder of Think Help Restore (THR) Media and the Safe Space Initiative. She is a social development expert, researcher, and gender specialist with over twelve years’ experience as a gender advocate infusing new media and technology to propagate gender inclusion. She holds a master’s degree in Managerial Psychology from the University of Lagos, a 2016 African American Institute Scholar with a certificate in Social Sector Management from the Enterprise Development Centre of the Pan Atlantic University, Lagos, and also a 2018 Mandela Washington Fellow with a certificate in Civic Leadership from Rutgers University, the state of New Jersey, USA. Her enterprise won the 2021 HIIL Justice Accelerator. She is the founder at Safe Space Initiative, a nonprofit using media and technology to cater to issues of gender-based violence, where the programming ensures women’s voices are unhindered and continually empowered.
