Lenias is a health entrepreneur. She is the founder of "Medicines for Africa", a social enterprise that promotes a better access to safe and affordable medicines in Africa. She got her PhD in medicine in 2003 and started her career in 2006 as an immunologist at Oxford University in England and Rockfeller University in the US as part of a postdoctoral program. She led research on infectious diseases and the development of vaccines.
